Joe champions community-led change in food systems, air quality and physical activity. He provides central communications and policy support for Developing Healthy Communities and also works directly on the Derry and Strabane Healthy City and District and Acorn Farm projects.

Jake oversees all financial activities, ensuring the organisation's fiscal health. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic approach, he plays a crucial role in budget planning, financial reporting, and risk management. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and watching various sports.

As the Office Administrator, Gill plays a vital role in keeping our team organized and supported. Her dedication and warm personality help create a welcoming environment for everyone. Outside of work, Gill enjoys walking, reading, visiting her sons in Belfast, and has a passion for Ceili dancing.

Debbie supports the Clear project team. Originally from Belfast, Debbie has worked in the community and voluntary sector for more than 15 years, most recently as a counsellor and complementary therapist. Outside of work she enjoys walking her dog, swimming and Zumba.

Grainne is the Community Health Development Researcher on the Civic Dollars programme. Her first career was software development before retraining into Psychology. She enjoys reading, writing, walking my golden cocker spaniel

Our board members

Developing Healthy Communities’ Board of Trustees (also the Directors of the Company) provides governance and oversight of the organisation. The Board is responsible for providing strategic direction and ensuring that the organisation is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as operating within our governing document and carrying out our public benefit purpose.
